A2Z Scraplets more releases for February

This month has been another huge release at A2Z Scraplets, loads of great new scraplets. Be sure to head on over and check them out!! All the Design Team have created amazing inspiration with the new releases.

Here are a few that I did

New release word - Sweet 16
this is totally different for me, I have tried lots of white space with this layout using up some scraps of Prima from my stash.

Now boy have I gone back with my stash LOL!! I found this oldie way down in my goodies. K&Co Paper from around 2005 I think, always loved this paper.

My girls are my treasures in the sand.


New release word - Too darn cute

For this next one I have used the inside and outside of the word. This layout I have popped out the Caloundra word to use.

This is my take on the sketch. I designed this sketch based on a layout I had done previously and then created an entire new layout on it.

A2Z Scraplets February Release

Wow!! another fabulous release over at A2Z Scraplets this month with more yet to be posted, head on over to the blog to check them all out, all the DT inspiration with the new releases is amazing!!

These are the new release products I had to work with

new release word - By the Sea
here I have used very old paper from my stash LOL!! love this paper though along with KI Memories die cut paper which I have painted, Petaloo felt flowers. Photo is of the girls at Shelley Beach Caloundra January this year.


new release Shape - Walk the Dog
here I have used up more of my older stash being Doodlebug paper, Creative Imaginations 12" sticker sheet, Finishing Touch Ideas pink rhinestone flourishes and petaloo flowers. Photo is of Shannon with her new glitter hat.


new release Script word - Eternity
again here I have used up older stash, I don't even know the names of the papers, also used Prima flower and strand of pearls. Photo is of Andrew and I just before our wedding in 1990.

Our new house!!

Well it's been a long time coming and we are finally getting out of the rental loop!!

We are moving yet again however this time it's for our own home YAY!!
This will be the last ever move, I swear I am going to rot in this place LOL!!

Here is our new home, we move in on 10th March.

Lots of packing to get done, we have already started but we haven't even really scratched the surface yet. The shop is going to be the biggest part ARGHHH!! so not looking forward to that part LOL!!

This move means a new area, we are moving suburbs and Chloe will be changing schools which she was dreading but now has got used to the idea.

I am so looking forward to being in our own home.

OMG!! I found this fantastic sketch site "Let's Capture these Sketches" last month and noticed they were looking for Sketch Designers so I applied.

trying to use up my stash at the moment, I have used Fancy Pants paper, Sandylion paper, cardstock and Fancy Pants transparency, Prima bling and flowers, Green Tara puffy ribbon.

Scrapbudz Challenges - Guest DT for February

Well this is pretty exciting for me, I was asked by the lovely Eve at Scrapbudz to be Guest Designer for February. Thank you Eve!!

I loved their challenges this month, you should head over for challenges that are a little different
Below are the challenges and my takes on each one

First is my take on the sketch challenge
Best Friends - photos of Chloe and her best friend Jessie
these girls are joined at the hip LOL!!

Using up more of my older stash I have mixed new Prima with older Prima papers
petaloo flowers and butterfly, Prima flourishes and Green Tara puffy ribbon
and American Craft glitter alphabet


This is the sketch designed by Moma

The next challenge is the Inspiration Challenge, had fun with this one

Again using up much older stash for this layout but worked perfectly with the photos that I had of my beautiful niece Stevie.

Not sure what the black and white paper was (no name), Bo Bunny spot paper
Prima journal spot, prima flowers, ribbon and another Prima bling flourish and a A2Z Scraplet title "Pretty" which I have inked black.

I forgot to journal prior to taking the photo of this layout LOL!!
these are photos that Stevie took of herself after her best freind Liz died her hair, Stevie's new do the smaller photo was prior and then the after photo.


this next challenge is the Latte & Cream Challenge
given an image below and using Cream or Latte as base colour for layout then adding in the colours from the image supplied. This was great and loved the outcome.

Using up all these older papers in my stash, I think these I bought from Creative Memories a while back and finally have used some of them LOL!! along with a doily, Prima flower and Petaloo felt flowers, Green Tara leaves, Prima pearl leaf and American Crafts chipboard glitter alphabet for the title.
