Scrap with V June Cyber Crop

Scrap with V have some fantastic challenges for their June Cyber Crop. I spent Saturday evening with a wonderful group of ladies, cropping the afternoon and evening away, I managed to get a few challenges done last night.

Challenge 1 with Jules - her challenge was

So why is this challenge so different? Because your layout has to be about socks. Yes, you heard me correctly – socks. I want a layout that tells a story about any pair (or pairs) of socks that you have (or, in Kylie’s case – don’t have!)

Now, if you want someone to blame for this layout – it’s not me! You can blame Wendy and Lea who gave me the idea after they handed out socks at the Scrap With V Retreat. You can blame Kylie because she keeps loosing hers and I think that story needs to be recorded for everyone to read. Or you can blame Millie, who also inspired me with a beautiful layout about her red socks. Sorry Millie, you are going to have to do another layout! (-:

Now, here’s the twist. The layout must meet the following requirements:

1.You must use some shaped paper other than square (round, heart, brackets etc.). It can be a full sheet, or partial sheet.
2.There must be some scallops.
3.I want to see journaling or a title (or part there of) on the photo.
4.I want to see some ledger or lined paper. If you have neither, I will settle for checked or striped paper.
5.I want to see hand made embellishments. In my layout, I have hand made all the leaves.

Oh! I nearly forgot…BLING!!!!! There must be bling on the layout – any amount, it’s up to you. (-:

Challenge 4 with Lindy - Card

Lindy card challenge was

Your card needs the following:
use 3 colours White Silver and Pale Blue
Glitter
Doily (or part there of)
distressing

Oh bugger!! I forgot the distressing LOL!! Oh well.


Chloe has loved the challenge this Cyber Crop too, she has got both kids challenges done. She stayed up until 10.30pm to do the card challenge on Friday night LOL!!

Layout Challenge with Millie - was to

do a LO with a pic of you in your winter woollies
to complete the LO use
2 patterned papers
some buttons or brads
and some fibre, lace or ribbon

Kids Card challenge with WendyG was

I would love you to create a card on any theme (eg. birthday, love, thank you or what ever). I want you to ONLY use the colours blue and white. I also want you to use flowers and ribbon/ric rac or lace. You are welcome to use any other embellishments you want, as long as you do use flowers and ribbon.

So, a card using blue and white colours, flowers and ribbon!!! I can't wait to see your creations.
