This months challenge
Aprils inspiration will come from the painting 'St Nicholas Circle' by Thomas Kinkade
St Nicholas Circle criteria:
Use this inspiration to scrap your house, the street where you live, beach house, street scape etc......
Note - this does not have to be a winter scene
Added criteria - Each item added to your page = 1 bonus point
1) Lamp
2) Arrowed sign post
3) Bridge
4) Rotunda/Gazebo
5) Green roofed house Total = 5 points
All items have been taken from the painting
ENJOY!!
my take on the challenge
Here I used the actual inspirational painting and smudged it in Photoshop to make the background patterned paper.
This was our house for 10 years,
in the gardens were lovely purple daisies
the Criteria I covered as follows
the green roof - being in the photo of our house.
The arrow sign post which I added our street name
the lamp I added our surname to pose as our outside welcome light
The funny thing though is that I have minature paintings from Thomas Kinkade which were given to me from my American friend many years ago, I have used them here on my layout (being the gazebo and the bridge) these were displayed in our house at that time.
Was fantastic that I finally got to scrap our old house.
Thanks for stopping by.
