A day on the Kookaburra Queen

For no reason whatsoever just that Millie (Annette) had 4 tickets to have lunch floating down the Brisbane River on the Kookaburra Queen today. Annette invited 4 of her friends and 1 was me!!

It was a beautiful day, shared with Millie, Lindy and Sylvia we had a terrific time, took heaps of photos, had a 3 course meal and drinks.

A wonderful Birthday - thank you!

Well today has been a truly wonderful day filled with much love, laughter and surprises.

Firstly this morning Chloe comes in to give me my birthday present. A beautiful pair of pink and white stripe fluffy bed socks which were inside this beautiful tin she made for me with a matching card.

How cute is this tin, and those socks were cramed in tight LOL!!


During the week Lindy had told me that I was going out today with her and Millie for a couple of hours. Now I had no idea where we were going or what we were doing.

I had told Millie and Lindy not to make a big deal of it, it's just another day LOL!! Did they listen to me though LOL!! I'm so glad they didn't, I've thoroughly enjoyed my day so far.

Lindy and Millie organised a lovely morning tea for me at Redcliffe this morning but to my surprise they had organised Phillipa, Kylie and Debbie to come and celebrate too. Morning tea was just fantastic, thank you ladies for coming along and making my day!! and thank you Lindy and Millie for organising the morning tea for me, I thoroughly enjoyed the morning and you have all made my day!! Thank you so very much!!
