Scrap with V Cyber Crop

Scrap with V had their cyber crop last weekend, Friday night was so much fun with the Mystery Challenge, couldn't stop laughing, talk about a funny night with dear Lindy's instructions. This is my take on the instructions from the Mystery Challenge, not sure if it's right or not but I like it anyway.

I've set a challenge this month for the cyber crop being the sketch, it's one that I did up sometime ago.

I put a little twist on the challenge though, you can't use the colour pink in any way and the photo must be girly to go with the CC theme of Girls, Girls, Girls.

This is my take on the sketch.

This was certainly a challenge for me not being able to use pink LOL!! but I love the end result.

Until next time

Handmade Pressies

These are a few of the handmade gifts I made for Christmas Presents this year. This post will probably give away who I was a secret santa for this year.

I made 4 of these in total for gifts this year. Just love the Kaiser bay window kit.

This is another of the Kaiser workshops, I just changed the papers and colours, this one was for Shannon filled with make-up for Christmas.

This handbag was made for Chloe and I filled it with lipgloss and nail polish

Shannon wanted to give her boyfriend Jake something handmade for Christmas. Shannon decided that this was what she wanted to do for him. Shannon made this "J" with a little help from me. He loved it by the way.

Glorious Caloundra - My favourite Place

Earlier this month Lindy, Millie, Shannon and I went for a day trip up to Caloundra. Was a beautiful day, we had lunch at Kings Beach, soaked up the sea breeze and sun. Thank you Lindy for getting me away from it all for the day, I really enjoyed it.

Millie (left) and Lindy - thank you for a lovely day out.

More Storms tonight - Lightning Photos

Well more storms came through again tonight. We were lucky this time and still have our power but Aspley and over that way are without power at the moment. Millie (my mother-in-law) is scrapbooking by candle light tonight.

I have this thing at the moment taking photos of the lightning, managed to get some pretty good shots tonight.

These photos were taken from my back deck

These were taken from my front verandah

Missing You

My eldest daughter's boyfriend went off to Schoolies for a week and poor Sarah was missing him terribly the entire week. She sat down and made him a card for when he returned on Saturday morning, filled with lots of meaningful words, brought tears to my eyes - young love. This is the card she made for him.

My eldest daughter Sarah has made this lovely Kaiser Wall frame of her and boyfriend Henry. She's used Doodlebug Spot Glitter Cardstock and lots of bling (kaiser). Has turned out really lovely and is now hanging on the wall in her room.

Circle Journal Layout

Managed to complete another page for a CJ on the weekend. "Favourite Colour" - all shades of Pink LOL!!

Collage Layout

This layout was done by Shannon and myself. Shannon edited all her photos in picnik adding all these cute things to her photos. I then took the images and made it into a collage and printed out as 1 complete photo. Too easy and looks great!!

Fundraising Butterfly

Scrap with V Fundraiser

This weekends project for me was to get this Butterfly done for Fundraising Event in the forum at Scrap with V. The main butterfly was the project but my girls loved it so much we ended up doing 3 of them and they now hang on our wall.

There are a number of beautiful butterflies that have been done for this event, check them out in the Scrap with V gallery.
