Prima Build A Page Layout to Share

after being sick for the past week and taking things really slow, no scrapping got done until Saturday night when I decided to do the Prima Build a Page for October. The Prima sketch was fantastic and I really enjoyed it.

This was the sketch for Prima Blog BAP October
and this is my take on the sketch
there are so many beautiful layouts in the Prima gallery I would hate to be the one having to decide on the winner. The work from the ladies is truly amazing. Click on the images above to check out the Prima Gallery for this sketch to see all the entries for October.

Good luck to all the ladies, your work is truly amazing and inspiring.

Until next time...

Scrap with V Cyber Crop and other Challenges

I've been scrapping like crazy this past weekend, trying to get some challenges done for the Scrap with V Cyber Crop but at the same time catching up on some other challenges too.

Some fantastic Challenges over at Scrap with V for the October Cyber Crop

I had the sketch challenge and this is the sketch I designed

and this is my take on my sketch

my daughter Sarah also did the sketch for the Cyber Crop, here is her take on the sketch.

Kim's challenge for the Cyber Crop was another I have got done so far

Kim's challenge is:

I would like to see the following in a LO

Stamping
Use of Gold
A die cut paper
The word "Moment" in the title
and a 5 x 7 portrait photo

This is my take on Kim's challenge and now I've just realised I have forgotten to stamp on my layout LOL!!

Card Challenge with Brigitte

Brigitte's challenge was
Something OLD, Something NEW
Something RECYCLED, Something BLUE
...About the Scrap supplies i'm talking about :O) !!!

This is my take on Brigitte's card challenge

Old I used eyelets, alpha beads and cord
New was Cardstock
Recycled I used a tinkerbell napkin (unused though LOL!!)
Blue is the mask I put over tinkerbell's eyes

Chloe plans on giving this card to her friend to say thank you for inviting her to her birthday party.

now to get the other fantastic challenges done.

I did end up getting the Scrap with V monthly Sketch Challenge done though, this sketch was designed by Kim Kendell.

Here is my take on Kim's Sketch
Click on my layout above to check out all the fabulous layouts for the Scrap with V October Sketch Challenge.

another layout to share

I managed to get the A2Z Scraplets September Sketch done this month, did it a little while ago LOL!!

Have used A2Z Scraplets word "pieces of me" and corners which I cut up and pieced together. Have inked both words and flourishes in 2 different colours.

This layout has been done for Shannon's album, to match the others that I have done for her from this set of photos taken last year.

Until next time...

Catching up on Challenges

I've done a few extra challenges over at Scrap with V this past weekend. I actually got to do the Scraplift Challenge from last month LOL!! Yep, it's late but hey LOL!!

There is the Scraplift Challenge for September which has been set by me and there is also the fantastic Sketch Challenge for September which has been designed by BrigitteG.

The first one is the Scraplift Challenge set by me at Scrap with V. I went blog hopping around the DT's blogs and found this fantastic layout on Lindy Gillespie's blog. Very much spring colours I just had to do this one.

This is Lindy's layout that I just had to scraplift and made it the September Scraplift Challenge over at Scrap with V
and here is my take on the Scraplift Challenge
now how is that for a scraplift LOL!! almost exact LOL!! I did say I loved that layout of Lindy's LOL!!

Then I got stuck into the Scraplift Challenge with Taryn for August 09 I really loved this one too but just hadn't got the chance to get this one done. So yes, it's late but it's done.

and this is my take on the scraplift challenge

Then I've done the September Sketch Challenge - this fabulous sketch was designed by BrigitteG.

and this is my take on the sketch, I've turned it on it's side

That's it from me for now, hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are enjoying the kids being home for the holidays.

Take care
