Exciting News

Firstly I have exciting news!! I've been accepted onto the Design Team for A2Z Scraplets!! I'm so excited, have never applied for DT before so I now know what it's like to get that acceptance email LOL!! I'm looking forward to getting to know the other ladies.

Now, you need to go check out A2Z Scraplets October Challenge, very inspirational. I converted the inspiration into a sketch and then did my layout from that.

another layout to share

I managed to get the A2Z Scraplets September Sketch done this month, did it a little while ago LOL!!

Have used A2Z Scraplets word "pieces of me" and corners which I cut up and pieced together. Have inked both words and flourishes in 2 different colours.

This layout has been done for Shannon's album, to match the others that I have done for her from this set of photos taken last year.

Catching up on Challenges

I've done a few extra challenges over at Scrap with V this past weekend. I actually got to do the Scraplift Challenge from last month LOL!! Yep, it's late but hey LOL!!

There is the Scraplift Challenge for September which has been set by me and there is also the fantastic Sketch Challenge for September which has been designed by BrigitteG.

The first one is the Scraplift Challenge set by me at Scrap with V. I went blog hopping around the DT's blogs and found this fantastic layout on Lindy Gillespie's blog. Very much spring colours I just had to do this one.

Then I got stuck into the Scraplift Challenge with Taryn for August 09 I really loved this one too but just hadn't got the chance to get this one done. So yes, it's late but it's done.

Scrap with V Cyber Crop Challenges

This month I have managed to get 4 challenges done for the Scrap with V Cyber Crop.

Was another great Cyber Crop with plenty of fantastic challenges.

Here are a few that I got done.

Challenge 1 with Kylie27 was -

Spring is in the air and that means flowers, flowers, flowers and did i say flowers

My challenge is:

1 Use flower patterned paper
2 Flower Transperancy
3 Flower Chipboard
4 Must have the word "flower" in Title.

Here is my take on Kylie's challenge

Challenge 2 with Brigitte G. was -

spriiiiing is in the air !!! i visualize ... yellow !! lots of flowers ect...

So my take for this challenge will be:

Clean&Simple LO with: Flowers, something felt, dominant of yellow, green... and... have lots of fun with it
tic tic tic... TOC !!! time is up !!!
well... as i said, i visualized a beaudiful Spring Clean&Simple LO with dominant of yellow colour and green, with flowers...something/embellies made of felt ...more flowers... well not too many since... it's a Clean & Simple so.... what do you say girls ???

Here is my take on Brigitte's Challenge
this was another great challenge, I had a moment with this challenge due to the yellow but got there in the end. Thanks for a great challenge Brigitte.

Then there was the card challenge with ChiLLi - Tania

Chilli's challenge was -

in honor of the spring theme for this cyber crop, i would like you to create a card with hand made/altered flowers.
So you can alter bought flowers , make some, punch some
thats pretty easy hey!

arrr but there is a catch, you must use, scraps from two of the other challenges to make your card.

Well I managed to only use 1 scrap from my previous challenges. I decided to make Sarah's 18th Birthday invitations of course Sarah was watching over me and had plenty to say about it LOL!! So this is what I've come up with for the card. The only scraps I used was the leftover of the cuttlebug embossing on the card.

It was a fabulous weekend with heaps of great challenges to complete during the week!!

Scrap with V Cyber Crop TONIGHT!!

Crafty Sketches September 1 Sketch

The September 1 Sketch is now up at Crafty Sketches. This one has been designed by me. Head on over to Crafty Sketches and check it out. you have an entire month to get this done, entries close midnight 30th September.


This is my take on the sketch
I have used beautiful new flowers from Scrap with V, these are the Aster Batik Sunset flowers which I have used on their own and in the center of the Green Tara 7 cm hot pink flower. Bo-Bunny Patterned Papers for background and brackets, Creative Imaginations Patterned Papers for the circles and pearl flourishes.
